Hi, I’m Marcellina — a freelance UX strategist, web designer… or should I say, a multi-passionate creative with a love for storytelling. Because frankly speaking, I’ve never been one to fit neatly into a box.
Throughout my life, I’ve grown up and lived between countries, cultures, and roles—adopting an independent, adaptable mindset that embraces unconventional paths and big-picture thinking. That experience also built my deep appreciation for diverse perspectives, fueling my passion for working with purpose-driven brands and individuals who challenge the norm.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with global brands, purpose-led organisations, and emerging disruptors to design digital experiences that make an impact.
Working hands-on behind the scenes, I recognise how tricky it can be for businesses—especially those just starting or working with smaller budgets—to stand out in a crowded digital space. Balancing aesthetics with usability isn’t always easy, but it’s crucial for creating a seamless, memorable brand experience.
I started Firstborn Studio to help sole traders, independent businesses and emerging brands cut through the noise with intentional design and sharp strategy. My approach blends structure and intuition—part research, part instinct, always guided by purpose and best practices.
